must remember how to fly

at curves in september we are holding a silent auction for breast cancer awareness.
the idea is to have members that are creative bring in pink items to auction off.
like quilts, dolls, and such.
anyway, i am making a fuzzy pink bunny, a few pink grocery bags, and maybe a raggedy doll.
if you (or anyone you know) would like to donate a pink home-made item, leave a comment and let me know.

i am winning. first the lawn mower crapped out on me, now the car is misbehaving.

i was driving to lowe’s in chambersburg, about 15 miles, on the back roads. there was some morning traffic, i was moving at about 30 mph most of the way. so i get to the light to turn into lowe’s and as i slow down, the brakes start acting like the abs is kicking in and the enigne starts to stall out on me. i put on my hazards turn the car off and restart it. then as i am turning into the parking lot, it does it again, the radio didn’t flicker, no warning lights came on, not even the abs. it didn’t overheat, didn’t even come close. so, fuel pump? alternator? battery?
we are probably going to trade the truck in for something.

Just a side note, that most people know, but is left out of the article. Not all corn is grown for people to eat, many farmers grow corn for their livestock to eat.
