must remember how to fly

i’m listening to willie nelson because i’m addicated to the album.
i have an allergy induced headache and my sinuses are packed to the gills.
anyway, the wii is really fun to play, neither of us have hit the other…yet. it is bound to happen.
we should have the paperwork needed to transfer the title on the scooter within the next day or so. we still need to go get a helmet.
*on tuesday luke needed gas and we didn’t have the money in the bank for him to get gas. he doesn’t like to take my car, just in case i might have an emergency or something. so he rode his bicycle. it’s a 4 mile ride, so he didn’t have any problems.*
random side note, don’t ever staple your fingers, it hurts like hell.

luke had a heck of a 30th birthday. he got drums and he got a Wii.

we got our tax stimulus. luke’s drums came. we got 4 “new” cd’s. we went to b-dub’s for dinner.

it’s official. we are going camping on the outerbanks next month. WOOHOO!!!!!

yesterday i ordered luke’s birthday present.

i have been doing some updating to our itunes this week. apparently when i move everything from one drive to the other not everything went, so i did that first. then i deleted about 200 duplicate songs. now i am in the process of putting album titles where there once where none. this has required some time and the use of proper spelling (which i am struggling with right this very moment.) the post title for instance, white snack, should of course be white snake. i also discoved that some songs, that were downloaded questionablely, had either a wrong song title or the wrong artist. that makes it difficult to find out what album the song belongs to.
I am using songfacts.com to find some of the 70’s stuff and itunes for the rest. some i am not bothering with, like the goofy songs, i just put dr. demento as the album title.

luke and i have been playing rock band every chance we get. so much fun it is.

i finally got to put my plants outside, hopefully that will jump start their growth. they are stalled right now and it bugs me. the lemon verbena has to come back in at night because it’s not especially hardy. i want to get some chamomile and a couple of other vegetables.

all of the trees have some level of growth on them. the hosta out front went from about an inch tall to 6 inches overnight.

now, i’m off to see about hacking, um, mowing the yard. it may be too wet still.

in church this morning, worship was kind of like “the big one” at talledega. a lot of beatin’ and bangin’ with some yelling thrown in for good measure. there 10 people on the stage and it sounded like each one was trying to play/sing their own version of each song. how frustrating! the people on the team are talented they just don’t play well together.

we just bought new speakers for the computer thinking that they old ones had gone south. i think it is actually our sound card that is dying. bummer.

i got a new (old) cd this week that i am really digging. it’s really short, 31 mintues, but really good.
