must remember how to fly

Us girls were at the church getting stuff set up and decorating and all the normal stuff you do before a wedding.

Luke. however, had to get four stitches in his thigh after stabbing himself with a utility knife at work. Good thing he was already at the hospital.

Luke had to have a piercing stud taken out of his ear from the back and had to have a tetnus shot.

We also probably moved stuff into our “new” home/apartment.

we had a nice trip to columbus for nina’s wedding. got to see some of luke’s relatives that we hadn’t seen in a couple of years. jan took a really good pic of the 5 of us (myself, luke, ben, annie and annie’s fiance, ryan.) i would post it but i seem to have misplaced it. bummer.

i don’t have a “10 years” pic to put up this week. but i’ll tell ya. we still have most of our pots and pans, we just threw away a skillet because the non-stick coating was coming off. we still have our 1st tv, we have our 2nd tv also but it is only 8. we still have a few of our original bath towels, most were chewed up by a dog. a couple of dvd’s are 10. probably alot of our cd’s. i recently cleaned out some old files and found our first phone, electric and gas bills. some camping equipment that we got as wedding gifts that desperatly want to be used. so there ya go.

of course the reasoning behind all this 10 years stuff is that luke’s and my 10th anniversaty is the 17th, next week.

I forgot to post a picture last week, so this week I took a “group photo.”
The blender, little bitty food processor and toaster (that has a penchant for burning, even on the lowest setting) are all 10 years old. Their new friend the coffee maker, in the background is 4 days old.

 Seriously. Though recently it has been making some strange noises, so it may be time for a new one.

Out of all of that. I think there are only 5 pieces missings.

Yes, the spices too. As you can see, though, we don’t actually use them.
