I forgot to post a picture last week, so this week I took a “group photo.”
The blender, little bitty food processor and toaster (that has a penchant for burning, even on the lowest setting) are all 10 years old. Their new friend the coffee maker, in the background is 4 days old.

this is catnip on my cat. instead of eating the catnip, the goons are rolling around in it. and i just discovered that it makes me sneeze.

Hey, there is a new doll over at Idlewind.

We have, again, been chatting about buying the scooter that has been sitting at the farm fro over a year now. I think this time will be a go. So we need to get a helmet. Maybe a motorcycle jacket with some fringe on it. Oh, and boots, you have to have the boots.

Every March Curves has a food drive. Each invidiual location chooses where their food goes, ours is going to a local church’s food bank.

We have nearly 200 members, who are awesome! Last night when I left we had around 1800 pounds of food bought in, in 11 days.

Which includes:
more than 50 boxes of different kinds of pastas
20 bottles of various juices
30 bags of flour and sugar
12-24 packs, 1-12 pack, 1-35 pack and 3 gallon jugs of water. That about 420 pounds alone.
Lots of various stuff like cake mixes, pudding, jello, mac-n-cheese, dry beans, easy cheese and others.
And the kicker…well over 300 cans of just about anything you could want, including 2-7 pound cans of pudding.

 Seriously. Though recently it has been making some strange noises, so it may be time for a new one.

it has rained quite a bit in the past week. creeks and rivers are high, and the ground is a muddy mess. i don’t envy ya’ll when your snow melts.

finished reading black/red/white. i really liked black and red, white didn’t go quite how i imagined it would.

all of our radiators but 1, work properly now. out of 15, 5 worked. maybe, just maybe the system will work more effeciently now that it won’t be trying to heat a massive house with 5 radiators. the 1 that still doesn’t work, the valve is stuck or something. i didn’t check it until after the plumber left, so oh well.

i have yet another 2 bags of clothing and another small pile of stuff for goodwill.

i cleaned out 2 closets and filled 2 trash bags.

i just realized that i forogt to go to the bank, again.

i watched disney’s the wild last week, it was ok.

i started a “spring cleaning” and things to start doing/buying for spring list. i need to get a couple of big terra cotta pots for our random pepper plants and some smaller ones for the cat nip and rosemary. my intentions are to try to grow green beans and tomatoes. i want to try the tomatoes upside down.
